Faour Glass Creates Custom Cable Net System for World of Coca-Cola Experience at Disney Springs

April 13, 2016

Faour Glass is on track to complete a unique glazing system for the World of Coca-Cola project in Disney. The custom glass facade was created in collaboration with Baker Barrios, Façade Concepts, Inc. and Faour Glass.  The building is designed as an old style brick building that is encased in a modern glass structure.  The glass structure is a custom suspended cable net system with multi-layered structural glass panels that are 5’ wide by 10’ high.

“We were excited from the moment we were awarded this project from DPR Construction” says Angelo Rivera, vice president and general manager of Faour Glass. “Our team engineered a custom, exterior glazing solution using 3D modeling, that offered Coca-Cola and their design teams exactly what they were looking for.  The World of Coca-Cola project is a perfect example of how Faour Glass collaborates with owners, architects, and engineers to provide design, engineering and creative capabilities.” The World of Coca-Cola experience in Disney is expected to be similar to the original World of Coca-Cola experience in Atlanta, GA, offering a sampling lounge, a Coca-Cola movie theater, roof top bar, merchandise store and much more. The World of Coca-Cola experience is expected to be completed this summer.  To follow the progress of this project or for more information on Faour Glass visit: www.faourglass.com or call 813.884.3297.
